This is a John Deere 7330 and it will be five years old this month. It just passed 15,000 hours.

That means it has showed up for work to pull the feed wagon for over 8 hours per day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.

It is truly the most reliable tractor I have ever had the privilege of maintaining. The only thing more reliable is Francisco, the man who drives it!

In my opinion, there is nothing on the market today that will ever come close to this tractor. It’s sad to say this tractor is one of the last of the era where the diesel engine was allowed to operate as an engine, and not as an over glorified air purifier with the side nuisance of having to power something.

I must say I truly can relate when someone says, “They just don’t make them like they used to!” I’ve always thought of myself as fairly progressive, but lately I’ve realized that I just don’t want to get with the times when it comes to new farm equipment!

How about you? What’s the most reliable piece of equipment you have ever used?
